Entering the Vajra World Retreat

The Three Yana Society is offering qualified students the opportunity to enter the vajrayana path in the tradition of Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche.

This retreat is a contemporary version of the deep training Trungpa Rinpoche offered through the Vajradhatu Seminaries. It is open to any Buddhist practitioner who wants to enter or explore the vajrayana in Trungpa Rinpoche’s tradition. Students of any genuine Buddhist tradition are encouraged to attend.

Retreat participants begin with a 13 week online study program on the Foundational Vehicle and the Mahayana prior to a month-long, in-person retreat at Drala Mountain Center. During the third week of the retreat participants may receive pointing-out transmission from Judy Lief, and have the opportunity to begin ngondro.

Participants who are already sadhakas or tantrikas will be able to continue and deepen their vajrayana practice during designated daily sessions and will work with an experienced meditation instructor throughout the retreat.

Interested students should apply now. The online study program begins in mid-March 2026, and the retreat will be held at Drala Mountain Center from June 21 to July 21. More information can be found here and here
